A very emotional and highly rewarding moment for our Managing Director, Anwar Ali, as he received his #OBE for 20+ years of contribution and work done in the social mobility area. Throughout these years we have supported people from deprived areas, individuals with disadvantages and/or challenging life experiences and backgrounds, in finding their confidence and developing a stable career path.
This award also reflects the years of work done in growing the Social Enterprise movement.
This moment and award would be impossible without our amazing superwoman, co-director and co-founder Maria Williams, and of course every member of the Upturn Enterprise team.
